Application Instructions

Surface Quality: The surfaces should be clean, smooth, solid and at the same time in balance, weak parts should be removed and damaged surfaces should be repaired with TEKNOREP. There should be no oil, dirt or rust on the surface. Surface Preparation: If the application will be made on marble, ceramic and palletite, the surfaces should be roughened. The concrete floor should be moist but not puddled.

Mixing: 7.0 - 7.5 liters of clean, clear water taken from normal ambient temperature is poured into a clean container that is free of any substance preventing adhesion. TEKNOFAY EX, which is in powder form and in a 25 kg bag, is poured into the container filled with water. It is mixed with a low speed mixer with a ceramic mixer tip attached until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained.

The mortar obtained at the end of the process should be rested for 5-1O minutes and mixed again for 1-2 minutes until it becomes homogeneous.

Application Notes / Limitations

• The product may cause irritation in contact with the skin. Work clothes, protective gloves, masks and goggles should be used. Before starting work, a protective cream can also be applied to the hand. In case of contact with the eyes, the eyes should be immediately washed with warm water and a doctor should be consulted.

• It must be protected under (+) 5°C ambient conditions, it must be covered with nylon or heat insulation plates must be laid to prevent the product from being exposed to frost.

• It must be protected at temperatures above (+) 35 °C, it must be covered with nylon or heat insulation plates must be laid to prevent the product from being exposed to sudden water loss.

• Joint filling should be started at least 24 hours after Teknofay Ex application.

• Do not add foreign matter.

• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Cleaning should be done with water before Teknofay Ex is fully cured and hardened. Hands and face should be washed thoroughly with soap and warm water immediately after the application.

• Equipment should be washed with water immediately after the application, before the mortar hardens.

Storage conditions

It should be stored in its unopened original package, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost.
